About Christina
My style is to be empathically direct and honest. It is my hope to assist in effecting the change that you would like to see as soon as possible. I have extensive experience working with individual adults and couples with a variety of life situations.
Before I began my private practice I worked for many years in Employee Assistance Programs. In this role I had the opportunity to work with many people who were referred to me by their employers, mostly Wall Street law firms and large corporations. The considerable experience that I gained in this kind of work helps me understand better the myriad of life problems that professionals with this background are faced with and find the best ways to help them tackle these problems. This is why a large portion of my work with clients focuses on career dilemmas and difficulties in the workplace.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Cognitive Therapist. I have been practicing in New York since 2001. I earned a Master’s of Social Work from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work, and completed post-graduate training at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy and Research in Philadelphia.
